Residency Review Committees
Residency Review Committees may be established for each specialty. The Residency Review Committees shall include a representative of OMNEE, all on-site program directors in the respective specialties, and the chief resident from each program unless otherwise designated by the program.
Residency Review Committees would be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing the residency program curriculum.
- Reviewing the inter-disciplinary curriculum and making suggestions to each program regarding their curriculum.
- Discussing best practices and sharing with other programs.
- Reporting and making recommendations to the appropriate committee.
Residency Review Committees, when appointed, shall meet a minimum of one time per year.Meetings are typically held on the Virginia campus of the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Blacksburg, Virginia and via teleconference.
